| A bit of important news on the Battle system...So, things happen, and due to the complexity of the battle system and number of hands involved in its creation, I have to bring the bad news that the training and battle system won't be ready for beta launch. It's possible that it might be able to release without everything functioning 100% or looking as shiny as I intend, and would just be updated closely after beta launch.The plus is that if there needs to be some heavy modifications based on player feedback, it'll be easier to do so. You'll also get to watch it as it's done!The training system was a pretty big bite to chew for our programmer of that area, so we will have items to boost stats readily available in its place. A big sorry goodie bag will be available for beta testers! Hope this doesn't put a damper on the festivities, but I just wanted everyone to be aware before launch! We will have it up and running ASAP. There will be other things to do in the meantime! At the beginning of the game, not too many things revolve around the necessity to battle. That comes later with dangerous exploring and crafting. However I will make sure to tweak quests that might ask for loot drops for the time being. Please keep in mind that with the nature of beta, there will constantly be things added and tweaked (with notice.) You get a first look and valuable experience seeing a game race towards finish! A full breakdown:
- The training page is done, as well as the system to reward and convert stat points (if you're a funder, you should have access to a special forum where you can view this. Message me if you don't have access, but should!)
- The strength game is done, just needs to finish fully integrating and testing it for playability across devices
- Alertness was started, but put on hold for other opening preparations. (Making roughly 1 1/2 out of 4 games done)
- The rest of the training games will take the largest chunk of time and will be balanced between bug fixes, other updates, and will be added as completed
- The battle system began work a long while ago, and has changed hands twice due to its size and programmer's other commitments. This has consumed extra time as the new programmer would need to find their place, get used to the specifications and what is needed, make changes, and then get into it on their own.
- The battle system is well over half way done, but we'd rather release something strong without full functionality than something completely broken and unplayable

| This is more then okay in my opinion, and a smarter choice in the long run. Who knows what New players would leave if the system was released half broken, or incompletely.
Either way who plays petsites simply for the combat.

| Ahh thank you all so much for your understanding! I completely get it if anyone is even at least a bit upset, and I hope the compensation package helps to make up for it! ;o; There are quite a few features that I have planned to roll out in beta, and I aim to make it pretty clear what I want done before Grand Opening with a way to track the progress | |

| I'm super excited to see what you've got, Pepper! I don't think anyone should be too upset, after all, it is just Beta. It's supposed to be not fully complete. It's really awesome that it won't be soon after Beta, though.
I've got my alarm set! Tomorrow at 2pm she opens, for me. Really excited! | |
