| Celebrate, we've gotten over 200 posts already! Alright, I'm willing to bend the rules a little bit and show off some previews I might have normally kept under wraps. All you have to do is ask for something specific! I'll give answers to perhaps 1-2 questions c: | |

| Congrats! Well, if there's anything I would like to know more about, it would be the inhabitants of the Vita desert. How do they survive there, for example? | |

| Excellent question, Epi! The Desert Type Kasarians thrive through their reliance on one another's skills. The most successful example of this would be the Wanderer's Wagons just outside of the desert's largest oasis. It's a popular spot due to the shade, water, and close proximity to the port. Many live in dens nearby to sell daily, but others may travel to sell or trade on a weekly basis. Some smaller groups (and rarely some individuals) manage to survive on their own, but it takes a lot of cunning and ingenuity to keep hydrated, healthy, and energized. The biggest challenges would be the wild creatures and the sands themselves. The sand is powerful enough to bury and wipe away dens and buildings in a single day. So these Kasarians are usually on the move a lot, or they might have lucked out and found a stable area to live. This lifestyle creates some hardy characters, and forces many to abandon their belongings to the sands. Though they rely on each other often, they aren't always very trusting! It's such a broad topic, I'm sure my answer won't completely satisfy you (and it shouldn't!). Though I will promise that there's a bit of an event coming up that may give you a little more feel for certain aspects of desert life. Just another piece to the puzzle. | |

| Pals! I'll work on a more comprehensive wiki later, but for now I'll do a brief intro! I'd like to note that I have big plans for the pal system, so I may hint or not even mention some things, but most of the expansions will be done during Kasaria's lifetime after launch. As you explore, you might come across some creatures to battle. In a world where you have to establish yourself, resources are very important! These creatures may drop parts if wounded (clump of fur, teeth, etc) or you might get lucky enough to use a bit more of them (pelt, horns, etc). It's extremely hard to capture a creature and earn its trust enough to become a pal. If they're merely wounded, there's a small chance that you might be able to keep it and nurse it back to health. They may also leave young behind (or you can find lost babies as you explore), which you can take to raise for yourself. This is the easiest and least dangerous way to tame a pal. Later in the game, you can have your own land for a "Pal Pen". You can have as many pals as you want, including duplicates. I'd like for people to be able to get small bonuses from their pals, among a few other little things to do with them c: ~ I hope that gives you a better idea of pals! | |
