I just love the idea of seeing new possibilities. Especially pal possibilities. xD

Correct!  It'll be the little tiles that companions and enemies navigate around, kind of like a board.

I feel you there, I've been trying to keep some species a surprise but it's proving to be really difficult (obviously hehe)

Ah, I did some snooping and found the mockup battle screen you did a while back. It looks really good! I can't wait to hear how the beta goes! Only 32 days, I'm sure everyone is really excited

I know right! I wonder if there are more companions/creatures that look somewhat like real animals, or more that are made up

Currently the name is still undecided, but since ya'll are such a good crowd I'd be willing to take suggestions

I really want to say Jackalope - but that's a completely different creature.

Kytherus? Chironke? Rattollo? Saudikoot? Pouix? Jaudinere? Saurvenere? Koise? Wulip? Nadia? Tyrensus? 
I'm not good at fictional names... especially short ones ^_^
