| Heyy Ack where do I start I'm a huge fan of Kasaria and have been secretly stalking it for ages. I used to be a writer for Kasaria, after I met PepperHead on Xanje (and began idolising her for a while ), and wrote a few plant descriptions - not sure if they're still gonna be used or not - but then I went really inactive and my Trello board got deleted, which, fair enough. But that didn't stop me from lurking. I've been keeping up with the Facebook and Tumblr, and am really excited to see how the Beta goes. My favourite companion is the bird apart of Tropical Flutter - Igg Bird if I recall correctly? I love the art of it What's your favourite companion so far? | |

Not yet. I hope to see it soon; I loved the Cinderella live action, and expect BatB to be just as good if not better. I'm also a Emma Watson fan. I haven't seen the original BatB is ages, so I'm super excited. Have you seen it? - Pepper-Head wrote:

| Honestly, I really loved the new BatB, and I'm really picky when it comes to these adaptations. I didn't like Maleficent and was sort of...indifferent to Cinderella and Jungle Book. Not that I disliked them, but that I didn't think there was really enough to warrant the remakes. xD But BatB was fantastic! | |

| Yeah? I'm even more excited then. I will admit, I think the Beast and the... um, furniture looks a tad strange, but I don't think it'll take away from the movie for me. I'm really easily won over by Disney. I know the Maleficant movie warranted quite a lot of hate, but I rather liked it; it was a sweet story and the graphics were really good. However, I tend to think of it as a seperate from Sleeping Beauty, as it just butchered the storyline. There are pleanty of ways they could have made Maleficant not bad whilst keeping the original story. I'm a sucker for Cinderella, so I couldn't hate the remake. Once again, I didn't much like the changing of the story, but I accepted it as a seperate. I haven't watched the jungle book, I keep forgetting. The sizing of the animals looks wrong, which sorta bothers me, but I'm happy to hear they kept the musical aspect of it, unlike the past two. Woop-de-doo, I wanna be like you-u-u | |

| I know what you mean, it took some getting used to, but I adjusted to their stylized designs. I think the reason I disliked Maleficent so much is because it butchered the plot and characters. Maleficent works better as a villain, not someone to be sympathetic towards, especially with how common a trope that is nowadays. And my favourite characters were utterly ruined. Fauna, Flora and Merryweather were AWFUL in the movie. Cinderella just didn't do anything for me. I think in trying to expand an otherwise simple story just added too many plot holes. xD The Jungle Book is actually the one of these three that I liked best. Songs were...mediocre though. BatB is definitely the one with the best music, even if some of the vocals aren't the best. >->; | |

| Really? I like all of the remakes, but as one-off things, not as a forever and always like the original cartoons <3 | |

| Oh, yeah! I loved when her hair flipped around to her face because I've been waiting too long to see a Disney princess fail in serious moments, but not exclusively for comic relief. Plus it happens to me way too often TT_TT | |

| Aha, well, I think we've seen a few princesses before try to act cool/serious and end up doing something awkward instead. xD Like Rapunzel spinning the frying pan and hitting herself, or Anna twirling up in the long curtains and spinning the tassel into her face. But yeah, I like that they humanize them a lot more recently, and give them the chance to be quirky and silly.
My hair is uber short, so I know not this pain you feel. P:

| Haha, fair enough. Oh? I don't remember the Anna scene, haha. But, I mean it, like... Anna was a complete clutz, but it was, in my opinion, so she could be contrasted to her perfectly poised sister. She was to be a, for lack of better words, a bit of a joke on past princesses. I never really absorbed Tangled, and haven't been presented the opportune to rewatch it, so I can't comment much on that. Where are Moana was for no other purpose than to be human. She wasn't overly clutzy, it wasn't a joke within the Disney world, and it didn't draw away from the scene too much. She quickly flipped it back out of her face and resumed her threatening of Maoi. Man, this thread is evidence of how easy Disney is to talk about | |

| Aha, true I suppose! But I'd argue that Anna only had moments of "kutziness" rather than it being an integral part of her personality. She manages to bounce of sofa, climb over ship's masts and scale mountains, only falling when chased by giant snowmen (Marshmallow is adorable!). So I'd say her being klutzy at times makes her a more believable character. They're allowing a female to have quirks and I think that's definitely a necessity. It made Anna all the more endearing of a character to me because of it. xD
Tangled is alright. I've watched it more than a handful of times, so I have a pretty good memory of it. P: Plus the new series is out, which I actually prefer to the movie.
I agree. I love talking about Disney. xD
