Help me watch movies :)

Yup, I could use some movie recommendations!

I'm dealing with some sort of stomach virus and when I get home from work all I can do is sit in my wobbly chair like a zombie and watch things that take little brainpower I've been watching Let's Play's but I'm getting a bit sick of those. I am also super bored, hence this thread XD

So....I really enjoy horror movies, of any kind. Animation is good too, or thrillers. Basically anything except (romantic) comedies I like.

So tell me, do you have any movies you love?
I'm going to stop rambling now.

I'm not too familiar with horror, not my genre, but if you haven't seen the classics, I recommend: Psycho (original), Sixth Sense, The Shining, Poltergeist, The Fly, Carrie. (Of the ones I've seen and liked, haha.)

If you're into modern horror, I saw someone review It Follows and holy shit. Terrifying XD

Only other movies I can think of are ones I watched recently--Kill Bill (1 and 2) and Charlie's Angels. Which I recommend those as well, though they're less horror and more humor. (Kill Bill being more about story/revenge/gore/over-the-top drama/humor, and Charlie's Angels being an action comedy.)

UH...kind of hard to recommend without knowing what you have/haven't seen. Going down some top movie lists of horror/thriller (from what I've seen and found at least "okay"): Black Swan, Bourne trillogy, The Others, Collateral, V for Vendetta, Rear Window, Sweeney Todd, Die Hard, Blood Diamond, any Schwarzenegger movie (I'm a fangirl lol), Jurassic Park, Zodiac.

I didn't want to say what I had already watched, since I worked in a video rental for three years and we got free films so.....I have watched an obscene amount of films XD I probably could have learned a trade in the hours I was watching films. Oops.

I guess I'm just a bit bored since everyone I know in on vacation so I can't even hang around them with my self-pity, haha.

Anyway, I had not seen It Follows yet, so I'll give that a go tonight!

Well, let me tell you, I have an encyclopedic knowledge of all animated (and partially animated) Disney films. As well as live action. Obscure to popular. But I'm also a big horror movie buff. So which would you rather get a list of? xD

You right, I didn't see all of them - I missed a few that were unobtainable in good old Dutchland. Victory Through Air Power looks interesting. I should go through the list, most of it should be downloadable or on youtube now.

I'm a little disappointed so many Ghibli films are listed as 'Disney' when all they did was dub them (badly) and release them. Not cool.

I feel you on the Ghibli thing ;o; I like quite a bit about Disney things, but there's also a lot that Disney does that...they need to not have/stop.

O gawd, I think alot of Disney films are sort of demented in their own way! But, it's childhood, so hey, I'll give it an excuse

ps: Sinister was a scary movie, and the Insidious series is pretty scary too (it's either a love or hate thing).
